To minimize waste of resources in managing demand and product flows
The philosophy behind Lean is to minimize waste of resources in an organization and to put focus on the customers. One of the fundamental principles includes the logistic operations being connected to meet the needs of the customers. There are fundamental differences in the flow structures of different supply chains.
This course explains and discusses the principles and methods that form the foundation of Lean logistics in a supply chain network.

Syftet med kursen är att ge insikter i tankesätt och metoder knutna till en resurseffektiv filosofi kring samarbete och synkronisering av aktiviteter mellan aktörer i en försörjningskedja.
